"The romantic, alluring grey mist of the tropics is the first thing we imagined when we began dreaming up this Tropical Conservatory editorial, inspiring the light and slate grey color scheme with pops of slate blue, blush pink and white amidst a green tropical backdrop. We envisioned a modern bohemian bride with elegant and minimalist taste. The mermaid Hazel gown from La Sposa Barcelona, provided by Leena’s Bridal fit Erin and the day’s style perfectly with it’s delicate rounded neck, elegantly connected at the back with tulle and gemstones. The exquisite paper and feathery calligraphy provided by Custom Crafted added a soft touch and understated elegance. From a hand drawing of the venue to light and airy invitations with wax seals, slate colored place cards and more – we’re enamored with this paper suite. The wild bouquet of white garden roses with cream, blush rimmed Ranuculus, fresh buds and organic greenery by Molly and Myrtle highlighted the wild bohemian spirit of the bride. The couple’s love for bird watching and tropical climate inspired the binocular and greenery centerpiece coupled with brass candle sticks for quite the sweet heart table. We tied in the slate grey with a beautiful runner and blush floral plates to bring the color palette of the day together. A classic chocolate sweet heart cake from Cake My Day with white icing adorned with wild ranuculus and greenery has us swooning over style and taste!"
