Intimate weddings will forever have my heart. Whether you are celebrating with your nearest and dearest or exchanging vows just the two of you, these intimate weddings are entirely magical. Now imagine a secluded spot where turquoise waters and rugged cliffs take the idea of scenic beauty to staggering new heights, both literally and figuratively. And with Esther Funk capturing all the magic on film and the prettiest calligraphy by Seniman Calligraphy donning champagne bottles, it's official, you have found wedding bliss.

"Everyone who's been to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia will
know why I'm falling in love with it more and more. From multiple
lakes to wineries to orchards it is just one of the most beautiful
places in Canada every season of the year and therefore a very sought
out area for destination weddings from all over the world. One of my
very favourite secluded spots are the rugged cliffs at Kalamalka Lake,
hidden away with Caribbean blue waters and the hills as a backdrop
making it ideal for an intimate elopement.
Kaitlyn Ellis Events and everyone else made my vision not only come
together, but to more than I had hoped for. The different hues of
blue, rough textures of nature paired with Silk & Willow silks and the
beauty of the florals - such a soothing dreamy combination. A Nicolet
gown by Truvelle windswept across the cliffs is just a natural and
will always be my personal favourite. These images are meant to
inspire the organic bride who seeks to say her 'I do' in a simple but
intimate way allowing the surroundings work their magic. Of course
ending a special day with a bottle of champagne customized by Ruth
from Seniman Calligraphy is a given!"
