This shoot was planned around the classiness of the pink peony and the feminine nature of lace and feathers. The peony is a flower that has a simple beauty and we wanted to showcase that beauty along side our beautiful bride. We wanted to incorporate lace and feathers and the textures and beauty that they can bring. The handmade heirloom fan was provided by Emici Levit and was the perfect accessory to the shoot! We think its fun when brides incorporate fun props into their wedding and this would be the perfect one for a vintage bride. The headpieces were a great addition to showcase different styles for a bride to choose from when it comes to veils, caps for flowers in her hair for her wedding. We used a long lace veil that adds a feminine touch to any gown. We then changed for a lacy bridal cap. These caps we are seeing more and more from our brides and think they are a beautiful option to a veil. We followed with another cap style, that had a cascading side slash. We loved this look and feel like its a step out of the traditional for a more adventurous bride. The last look was a large oversized flower. These flowers are becoming a huge style statement and for a good reason!
