When any body of water can leave you swept up in a vastness of calmness, where one is undertaken by sensory overload, you know you have a deep love for the water. But when a fine art wedding photographer can capture all those emotions in a tiny oasis in Idaho Falls, where you are left entranced in a visual sea of pretty, literally, you know you have found love.

“I’ve always been intrigued by water and what it can symbolize. Most summers growing up, my family vacationed along the North Carolina coast. I would stare at the vastness of the sea and try to visualize its depth. The shoreline is one of the only places in the world where I feel safe to be completely and utterly powerless. Water in its many forms can symbolize renewal and strength. Waves of the ocean can rage while a lake can be so still it mirrors the sky. Except for the Snake River, Idaho is land-locked. I found a little stream in Idaho Falls and followed it until it washed down into the Snake River. Truly, with a sandy beach area, weather-worn boulders, and heavy greenery, this spot was a little oasis and I was completely inspired. Alexis made the perfect sandy beach bride and the golden tones of the wedding dress complemented her blond locks perfectly.”
