Ask me my favorite type of wedding and the answer will forever be an intimate dinner party. Whether you are gathering inspiration for your own wedding, an anniversary party or simply in search of chic ideas for gathering your nearest and dearest together for a stylish soiree; your bound to find ideas to adore in today's post. Martina Wendland Photography and event designer, Erin Brouwer sought to create a summertime dinner party that any couple could be inspired by with an organic aesthetic. The Vintage Floral Co. brought the space to life by adding lush greenery, including bay leaf, rosemary, and olive branches to create a classic yet rustic celebration. Heart-shaped wreaths adorned the bride and groom's place setting and garlands of greenery cascaded off the farmhouse table creating a gorgeous tablescape that is perfect for budget brides that crave a stylish statement.
Words from the photographer -
"This shoot was styled by Erin Brouwer & Martina Wendland specifically for Adorn Magazine. Drawing inspiration from English gardens and Provencal France, we relied heavily on florals that were provided by The Vintage Floral Co, to transform the simple, but charming, "Whey Back" party room at The Milky Whey into a vision of summer. Draping greenery of bay leaf, rosemary, olive branches and salal spanned their gorgeous farmhouse table and pooled at the ends, with delicate crystal candlesticks and champagne flutes with quicksand roses dancing throughout.
The colour pallete was kept to neutral ivories, whites, and pale pinks. The stationery suite was created with a flowing calligraphy font, again with very simple and understated colours. Our model wore a stunning vintage tea-length gown with lace detail, an elegant up-do with delicate florals and vintage handmade jewelry. Her bouquet included anemone, quicksand roses, white majolica spray roses, rice flower and hydrangea with a draped ribbon and broach detail. The groom sported a classic black suit with a matching pink tie, as well as a spray rose, rice flower and olive leaf boutonniere. Our goal was classic and timeless, elegant instead of rustic, and an inspiration that any bride could easily integrate into her planning."
