There are decadent wedding cakes, a dance floor filled with guests celebrating, and a bevy of darling details to adore but before the party officially starts, there is the ceremony where the heart of the celebration begins. Stone House Creative and a talented crew of vendors have created two ceremony spaces that bring a stylish and heart-felt focus to exchanging your vows. My favorite detail besides the positively pretty florals and dashing invitations by Robin Egg Blue Design, is the custom poster with the couples vows displayed on an easel. Part 2 unveils next week with the most romantic of designs!
Words from the floral & event designer –
“For this shoot, we really wanted to celebrate the ceremony. Yes, the flowers should be beautiful and the food delicious and the dress amazing, but the focus of the wedding really needs to be on the ceremony – those few minutes that you take to verbalize your commitment to each other. I wanted to focus on the ceremony because I feel like it gets downplayed to that quick 15 minute legal part of the day. When conceptualizing this look, I started with one thing: a petalled altar. I loved the idea of a beautiful space, created from nothing using delicate blooms. The idea of a special place designed just for the couple to stand during those few important minutes, seems so romantic and like a great place to start a marriage.”
