The splendor of spring and all the beauty that comes from this fragrant season inspired Katherine Ridgely and a talented team of wedding artisans to curate a styled shoot that would inspire the fine art bride. The details of today’s styled shoot are ones to leave your heart skipping a beat; from a tablescape adorned with silk textiles in soft pastels and a bevy of beautiful blooms are woven into the design that are idyllic for any springtime celebration, to a bride adorned in a dreamy dress by Leanne Marshall and a radiant ring by Susie Saltzman.
“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”
–Rainer Maria Rilke
The vendor team that contributed to this shoot were anxious for the light, tones, and the fragrant, full blooms that come with the season of spring. The blank canvas of the Denver Photo Collective gave us space to mix soft neutrals with pops of spring color to create something visually stunning.
We started with neutral and soft textiles from Tono & Co, Susanna Luck, and Colorado Party Rentals on the table scape. Then we added depth with the brightest spring-inspired hues, including beautiful florals by Amber Mustain, to fill out the gorgeous industrial space. Colorado Party Rentals and A Love Tale contributed the pieces that made the table scape cohesive and vibrant.
The calligraphy from ElisaAnne Calligraphy complimented the entire aesthetic of the shoot, including the soft spring blush and the custom stamps. The hand lettered name cards from Caitlin Jane Calligraphy tied in perfectly with our place settings. The simplicity of the cake by Salted Sweets created a canvas for Amber Mustain to add the most gorgeous blooms.
When we thought about the perfect gown, we envisioned Leanne Marshall. Emma & Grace Bridal provided both the dress and the perfect headpiece designed by Pronovias. Ashley from Smash Beauty Bar gave Katie, our model, the most elegant, natural makeup and the sweetest updo that made the whole look come together.
The dress was paired with the most gorgeous Bella Belle shoes and the most stunning, simplistic Susie Saltzman ring. Katherine Ridgely used the film medium to capture all of these details perfectly.
